I'm a really nice guy who values good friends and family as a priority. I try to remain upbeat in all situations and look for the good in all people. I have a good sense of humor and I love to laugh. I can be a little sarcastic at times but please don't take offense. I'm usually only sarcastic to people I really like. Its a weird personality quirk but thats just me. I've been through alot in life and I've had my share of dark times but thats just made me stronger and ready for anything that life throws at me. My past is what makes me who I am today though so I wouldn't change anything. I'm at a weird place in my life where I'm redetermining my dreams and aspirations and I'd like to have someone close to my heart to share the adventure with. I'm honest and upfront and I don't like playing games. I'm loyal to the people I love and I'll go the distance to help out my friends in any situation. I do have a 15 year old son who I'm very close to, and although he does not live with me, I try to spend as much time as possible with him and I cherish those moments. I'm looking for an honest, funny, open, caring woman who knows that being best friends is the foundation for a great relationship. Loyalty is very important to me. I don't like head games or drama just for the sake of drama. I want to meet a real woman who is not afraid to just be herself.

My dog Oakey is the smartest dog I've ever seen. I rescued her as an older dog so I'm not sure who trained her so well but I swear she understands english and everything I say. I think she has a human soul. Lol.

I'm open to all kinds of music, depending on my mood at the time. I love movies, especially thrillers that keep you guessing and comedies. I like to read but I don't read as often as I'd like. But in any form of media I like something that has meaning and makes me think and feel. And in those rare, special circumstances, I love it when something touches me so deeply, it changes my perspective and my life.

What do you enjoy doing for fun?
Its not so much what I'm doing that makes life fun, its the people around me that make life enjoyable. I can be sitting and doing nothing but if I'm with the right people I have a great time. On the flip side, I can be doing something very entertaining to the senses but if I'm with the wrong people its no fun at all. I'm an adventerous spirit and open to all kinds of new experiences.

I'm a dog person. I love the loyalty and love they give to you no matter what. I'm cool with most animals though but I'm not really into reptiles and serpents.

I'm a very caring and nurturing person. I'll do anything to help out the people I love.

Ernest Hemingway, James Dean, and my best friend who I'm still hoping to meet.

How is your physical shape? What do you do to keep in shape?
I'm in average shape. I'm not an exercise guru or anything but I can be fairly active. I love to walk. It gives me time to think and clears my mind.
