I collect Alfred Hitchcock, paper weights, glass things. movies, love Erte, pop-up books, flip books. My brother was in a railroad film, my sister plays the Celtic Harp.

I loved Dune, and many other SciFi books and movies. I love Alanis Morisette, the Shins, Elvis Costello, Sting, Sca, Debussey's "Arabesque", and Tchaichovsky's "Nutcracker Suite". Cordwainer Smith is cool. I loved Terminator, Matrix, and Alice in Wonderland...

What type of work do you do? Do you enjoy it?
I am retired. I was in the design world (advertising, title design, logo design, publication)

What do you enjoy doing for fun?
I love gardening, movies/TV, eating out, yoga, meetings with friends, being with my cat. Music and comedy are important to me.

paying bills, driving, answering the phone, watching organized sports, not feeling safe, dealing with liars.

Originally from New York, but that was long ago...

I have had 9 cats over the last 30 years (not all at once). I enjoy having those extra heart beats around. That's why I love gardening. Like my cats, it satisfies the "nurture gene" in me.

I try to be understanding and generous. I think I'm fairly bright, and really funny.

What was the most daring / wild thing you have ever done?
got sucked into the undertow and couldn't get back to the shoreline without help. Have a very healthy respect for nature, pain, and strength.

insecurity, being dependent on others, though I'm OK asking for help when I can't figure something out .

I am in fairly goof shape, I do yoga (sometimes) regularly. I'm not too into organized sports, but love the Olympics, Cirque de Soleil.
